DESCRIPTION:Christophe Theallet is a motivational clinician\, with over 30 years of experience teaching\, riding and coaching dressage at all levels\, up to the Grand Prix. His own journey includes studying\, training and graduating from the high-level French Riding School Cadre Noir de Saumur. He also worked extensively with dressage greats such as Patrick Le Rolland\, who Christophe describes as a true master and elegant rider who taught the fundamental principles of riding. He continued his education with masters including Rudolph Zelinger and Christilot Boylen\, Steffen Peters and competed internationally representing France. \nChristophe moved his training business to Spokane with his wife Marie and clinics regularly in New York\, New Jersey\, Florida\, California\, and Washington. He was also instrumental in our 2016 Olympic Team member’s development and training Kasey Perry\, coaching her for several years. Perry is one of several high-performing students\, he also coached Charlotte Jorst to victory at the 2015 Adequan Global Dressage Festival. SUMMARY:Symposium for the Enhancement of Horses and Riders
DESCRIPTION:Our fifth annual educational symposium with Janek Vluggen D.O.\, MRO-D\, EDO\, Luann Groves DVM\, EDO\, along with Elizabeth Voss\, Casey M. Jones EDO\, EQTPMT\, and Matt Slaughter is coming\, May 19 & 20\, 2018. \nThis year’s symposium will have several demonstrations of osteopathy in practice. It will be a TEAM effort comprising an equine osteopath\, a veterinarian\, an equine dentist\, and a farrier. All of these practitioners have a strong osteopathic background and we’ll be looking at the whole horse. There will be some short lectures to begin the Symposium on Saturday and the rest of the time will be actual treatment of horses. \nDon’t miss this opportunity to meet and be educated by amazing horsepeople.

DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Twin Rivers Chapter of Oregon Dressage Society\nhttps://www.heather-oleson.com/ \nHeather is an International Grand Prix dressage rider\, trainer\, instructor\, and clinician\, who was born and raised outside Portland\, Oregon. She has loved horses from the very beginning and participated in 4-H with her half-Arabian gelding SB Flame Dancer\, who would later become the first horse she trained to Grand Prix. Since then she has trained multiple horses to FEI\, competed extensively in the Northwest and on the California CDI circuit\, and competed at the USEF Festival of Champions twice on two different self-trained horses: Escorial in 2012 (Intermediare I) and Victor in 2016 (Grand Prix). Although she has worked with many excellent instructors\, Heather credits Ernst Herrmann\, Conrad Schumacher\, and the late Dietrich von Hopffgarten as the biggest influences on her training philosophy. Heather has been training and teaching dressage professionally for over 20 years and has helped many amateur\, junior\, and professional riders achieve their personal goals\, whether sitting the trot correctly to competing at the NAJYRC. She is a talented and positive yet honest instructor with an excellent eye for detail\, a deep interest in continuing education\, and a tremendous amount of experience teaching through FEI. \n$120/ride stabling available for $35/night
