Cynthia Collins – Freestyle Clinic with Luna Tunes

With over two decades of experience, I produce professional freestyles. I can select music that suits your horse, or use your selection’s, and match the music’s tempo to your horse’s gaits. I can design your custom freestyle at the level of your performance as well as create interesting and judge pleasing choreography. When I say “design,” I mean I take musical phrases and place them where you will be riding your required movements. Freestyles are not just playing music while the rider does the required movements. The original music will be rearranged so that in matches the movements you will be performing in the 20 x 60 dressage arena.

As a rider on my deceased Grand Prix dressage horse’s, Tierra’s Luna and Larisa, as well as my current western dressage mare, I’ll Be a Scarlet Moon, I have designed, choreographed, and ridden championship freestyles at every level myself. I also have over two decades of experience designing professional freestyles for all levels of riders.

I have many years of instrumental music experience. I have played and performed on the flute, piano, guitar, violin, bells, and trumpet.

But my real training for freestyles, though, has been gained in the competition arena, in front of audiences and judges. I feel this is what sets me apart from other designers. I understand what riders have to deal with while in the competition arena, because I have been there.
