Born in May of 2010, Heide Star — more formally, St. Pr.A. S1 Heide Spirit (Zack x Sir Donnerhall) — is a beautiful black-brown Oldenburg mare. A modern type Oldenburg, Heide stands 17 hands. True to her formal name, Heide has an exuberant personality.
Silver Tail Farm imported Heide Star from Germany as a three-year-old. Once settled in, Heide competed successfully in the 2014 and 2015 California show circuits.
The Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society, the official North American division of the German Oldenburg Verband, named Heide Star the 2014 All-Breeds Reserve Champion for FEI four-year-olds.
