Silver Tail Farm welcomes FEI dressage trainer
Nick Onoda – April 2 & 3, 2016
Nick Onoda is an FEI dressage trainer located in Northern San Diego. He was head rider to Stefan Wolff for six years, two of which were in Germany — where Nick taught clinics and competed. His passion is teaching riders of all levels to understand their horses and communicate through correct biomechanics. You’re invited to visit his website at www.OnodaDressage.com
Nick Onoda will be returning to Silver Tail Farm on April 2 and 3, 2016, for an intensive weekend of training.
“When training, my focus is on improving communication.”
“I believe a rider must first understand what they are trying to achieve and the exact means by which it is attained. I do not believe in ‘just making it happen’ by whatever means necessary. By being more process focused, students work within a clear structure and this reduces their stress. They develop an understanding for the language of riding (the aids) which produces results they can successfully recreate at will, creating a confident independent rider.
Teaching riders in this way and training horses in accordance with their nature and physiology makes dressage what it should be – beautiful and fun!”
Ride Fee: $220 per ride (limited rides available) – Stabling: $35/night
